Fieldstone of Bainbridge provides caring, around-the-clock care support for residents with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia, including access to behavioral health care services. Our team is dedicated to helping each resident live with dignity, independence, and comfort. We focus on creating a safe, welcoming community for both residents and their families.
Our Bainbridge Island memory care community was designed from the ground up with safety and comfort in mind. We use monitoring technology, emergency response systems, and have certified staff and an on-call nurse available 24/7. Families can choose from several studio apartment layouts to find the best fit for their loved one and we offer transparent pricing for peace of mind.
A team specially trained for memory care
Our memory care team receives specialized, ongoing training to support our residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. This includes person-centered care, communication techniques, understanding and responding to changes in memory or behavior, safety and emergency procedures, and individualized care planning.
Staff complete Mental Health & Dementia Specialty Training using a curriculum approved by the State of Washington, along with applicable Washington State Home Care Aide training and certification requirements. Ongoing education through Relias and our Behavioral Health Director, Dr. Wornell, and his team helps our caregivers continue to provide knowledgeable, compassionate support.
Residents also benefit from convenient access to care. Pharmacy delivery, podiatrists, dentists, and other healthcare professionals who come directly to the community help reduce the need for off-site appointments.

At Fieldstone of Bainbridge, memory care goes beyond safety – it’s also about amenities that bring joy and connection. Our town square design gives residents the experience of being “out on the town” in a secure environment. They can visit the salon or barbershop, enjoy a movie in the theater, or share a snack at the 1950s-style diner.
Residents also enjoy engaging activities such as the Fieldstone Gardening Club, movie nights, exercise sessions, and community outings. Families are often invited to special events, like shared dinners, which strengthen bonds and foster a sense of community. For those navigating the challenges of memory loss, our monthly support group for families and caregivers offers another opportunity to connect with others who understand.
