Caring for someone living with memory loss can bring meaningful moments, but it can also come with questions, challenges, and emotions that are difficult to navigate alone. Connecting with others who understand what you’re experiencing can provide reassurance, encouragement, and a valuable sense of community.
Fieldstone of Yakima and Rexford Park have partnered to offer a free Memory Care Support Group for family members and caregivers of individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other forms of memory loss. The group provides a welcoming place to share experiences, learn from others, and discover resources that can make the caregiving journey a little easier.
Connect With Other Caregivers
Every family’s experience with memory loss is different, but caregivers often face many of the same questions and concerns. Our Memory Care Support Group gives you an opportunity to meet others who understand those experiences firsthand.
Group discussions provide an opportunity to talk openly about the experiences of caring for a loved one with memory loss, while educational topics and guest speakers offer additional perspective and practical knowledge. Participants can also learn about resources that may be useful to their families. Whether you come with a specific question or simply want to listen and connect, the group welcomes caregivers at every point in their journey.
